Zhongfa Liao

Zhongfa Liao is a professional with extensive experience in investment management and risk analytics. Currently serving as a Senior Associate in Structured & Private Credit at the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) since May 2021, Zhongfa previously held an Associate position in Investment Risk Analytics at the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO) from May 2020 to May 2021. Prior experience includes working as a Model Risk Specialist specializing in Model Validation at BMO Financial Group from July 2018 to April 2020, along with roles as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at the University of Toronto from September 2011 to June 2018. Zhongfa holds a Ph.D. and a Master of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Sun Yat-sen University.
