Christy Langley has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Christy is currently working at Hoosier Energy as the Director of Power Supply Portfolio & Risk Management since August 2021. Prior to this role, they held the position of Energy Portfolio Strategist from March 2020 to August 2021 at the same company. Christy'searliest work experience includes being a Mayoral Intern at the City of Indianapolis, where they were assigned to the Historic Preservation Commission and later joined the CAPIndy Center for Mayor Peterson's Vacant & Abandoned Housing Inventory project from May 2003 to September 2003.

Christy Langley earned a Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning & Development from Ball State University, completing their studies between 2000 and 2004. Christy then attended Long Island University for an Honors Semester in 2003-2004. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Public Affairs & Economic Development at Indiana University Bloomington from 2004 to 2006. In February 2012, Christy obtained their AICP certification (American Institute of Certified Planners) from the institution of the same name.
