Richard Field

Richard Field has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity and network infrastructure. Richard is currently serving as the Director of Cybersecurity and Network Infrastructure at Hoosier Energy, where they are responsible for managing cybersecurity risk and developing strategies for data/voice/video networks and control systems. Prior to this role, Richard has held positions such as Senior Manager and Manager of Cybersecurity and Network Operations at Hoosier Energy. Richard also worked as an IT Infrastructure and Security Coordinator and Network Security and Compliance Coordinator at the same company. Richard has also gained experience as a Network Engineer at Cook Medical and as a Network Specialist at Hoosier Energy, where they designed and implemented network systems and installed security devices. In addition to their professional work, Richard has volunteered at Girls Incorporated of Monroe County.

Richard Field earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Telecommunications from Indiana University Bloomington, where they studied from 1999 to 2002. Richard furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University, completing the program between 2018 and 2020.

Richard also possesses several additional certifications. In July 2019, they became a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and a Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) through the EC-Council. Richard obtained the CISSP certification from (ISC)² in February 2017. Additionally, Richard holds the ITILv3 Foundations certification, although specific details regarding its institution and completion date are not available.
