Carly Shuler

Carly Shuler co-founded Hoot Reading in 2018 and served as the CEO. Hoot Reading is an online tutoring service focused on reading that connects children with teachers through a video-chat app. Prior to Hoot Reading, Carly co-founded Kindoma in 2014 and served as the CEO until 2018. Carly was a Fellow at the Joan Ganz Cooney Center from 2007 to 2012. Earlier in their career, Carly worked as a Brand Manager at Spin Master Ltd. from 2003 to 2006 and as an Analyst at Accenture from 2001 to 2003.

Carly Shuler holds a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Technology in Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education, which they completed from 2006 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) degree in Marketing & Finance from McGill University, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. In addition to their formal education, Carly Shuler also obtained a certification from the ASU GSV Summit in April 2016.
