Debbie McDonald

Debbie McDonald currently serves as the Director of Education at Aldridge Gardens, a position held since January 2017, overseeing programs such as field trips, adult and family education, community service, and summer camps. With a long-standing career in education, Debbie has also worked as an Enrichment Specialist for Hoover City Schools since December 1988 and previously at Riverchase Elementary School from 1988 to 2011. Debbie holds an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Technology from Lesley University, obtained between 2007 and 2009, and a Master’s degree in Special Education/Gifted & Talented from The University of Alabama, completed from 1992 to 1995.
