Ricardo Mayerhofer

Ricardo Mayerhofer is a co-founder of Hopara, a company they joined in 2020. Prior to this, they took a sabbatical break from 2019 to 2020. From 2016 to 2014, they were a Development Manager at B2W Digital, where they co-authored restQL, an open-source microservice query language written in Clojure, and was responsible for the basket and checkout process of B2W brands. From 2008 to 2003, they were a Partner and Technical Manager at Ideais, where they fostered Agile practices adoption company wide and led B2W Checkout development. Finally, from 2003 to 2008, they were a Development Manager, QA Lead, and Software Developer at GAS Tecnologia, where they led Agile adoption Company wide and worked as a C++ developer in a mission critical fraud prevention project.

Ricardo Mayerhofer obtained a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from UERJ in the field of Ciência da Computação.
