Arash Araghi began their work experience in 2003 as the President and Founder of the Institute for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. In 2005, they joined Healthcare Outcomes Performance Co. (HOPCo) as the Chief Medical Officer. During this time, they contributed to the development of musculoskeletal outcomes management and value-based healthcare solutions. Additionally, in 2005, Araghi also started working as an Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Arthroscopic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Shoulder and Elbow at The CORE Institute, where they focused on providing high-quality patient care and promoting innovation and research in musculoskeletal care. Arash Araghi's education history includes a wide range of programs and degrees. Arash obtained a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) and a Bachelor of Science (BS) from New York Institute of Technology, graduating in 1995. Arash then completed a rotating internship at Peninsula Hospital Center in 1995-1996, followed by a general surgery residency program at the same institution from 1996 to 1997. Araghi then specialized in orthopedic surgery, completing an orthopedic surgery residency program at Peninsula Hospital Center from 1997 to 2001.
Arash further pursued fellowships in shoulder and elbow surgery at New York University from 2001 to 2002, a visiting clinician traveling shoulder/elbow fellowship at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, Australia in 2002, and an AO Trauma Fellowship at Universitatsspital Basel in Basel, Switzerland, also in 2002.
In 2003, Araghi participated in the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine's visiting clinician program, focusing on the traveling elbow fellowship.
More recently, they earned a Master of Medical Management degree from the University of Southern California in 2016.
Apart from their academic accomplishments, Araghi has also obtained various certifications throughout their career. Arash is board certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Osteopathic Association, and they hold a certification in Health Care Compliance (CHC) from the Compliance Certification Board (CCB). Arash is also recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (FAAOS). The specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
