Monica VanDerWerf possesses extensive experience in grant research, payor contracting, and revenue cycle management. Currently serving as a Grant Researcher at Write Support since June 2022, Monica researches grant opportunities for nonprofits focused on social and economic change. Monica also holds the position of Payor Contracting Specialist and Contract Administrator at Healthcare Outcomes Performance Co. since March 2021, where analytical work on financial performance and contract proposals is conducted. As a board member of E3Africa since 2006, Monica is dedicated to providing education to Ugandan youth. Previously, Monica managed the revenue cycle and insurance contracts for Genesis Healthcare Partners from November 2000 to March 2021 and held a finance role at Hamilton Sundstrand from 1996 to 2000. Monica earned an MBA in Finance from San Diego State University and a BBA in Business Administration from the University of San Diego.
