Michael possesses 40 years of comprehensive construction delivery experience and strong leadership skills including large entertainment/hospitality complexes, governmental, public works, and mixed-use projects in domestic and international venues. In 2013, he joined Walt Disney Imagineering, the branch of The Walt Disney Company that designs and develops its global theme parks and resorts properties. In this role, Michael has overseen projects in California, Florida, France, Hong Kong, and China, including recently spending three years living and working in Shanghai to help build the Shanghai Disney Resort.
Michael was born and raised in Massachusetts. After graduating from college Michael’s work, charitable pursuits and curiosity have taken him to over 30 countries on four continents. He has lived and worked in Windsor, England, Paris, France (twice), the Middle East, Asia, both coasts of the United States, and Africa including Liberia, Nigeria, Chad, and the Congo. Michael is also a part-time Arbitrator and Mediator and has served on over 150 cases. He has worked for the Los Angeles County Superior Court and has been on the American Arbitration Associations panel of Arbitrators and Mediators for over 18 years. Michael is committed to several charitable organizations that include a longstanding relationship with Habitat for Humanity which builds affordable, decent housing for families around the world. Through his leadership, Walt Disney Imagineering has encouraged general contractor partners on large construction projects in Anaheim and Orlando to partner with community-based organizations like Hope Builders to encourage more local and diverse hiring practices. Michael currently resides in Altadena, CA.
