Silvano Rech is an experienced professional in the fields of metallurgy and engineering, currently serving as Technologies Development Manager and Global R&D Technical Leader for tool enhancement at Standex Engraving Mold-Tech since April 2019. Previously, Silvano held roles as Quality Engineer and Responsible for Metrology at Fly Spa/Forgital Group, as well as Consultant for Busellato Glass Moulds srl. Silvano's background includes significant contributions as a Senior Researcher at Veneto Nanotech scpa, where responsibilities included leading the metallurgy and thermal spray unit, along with various research positions focused on thermal spray and powder metallurgy at organizations such as National Research Council Canada. Early career experiences encompass technical design in the food and chemical plant sectors and software development for CNC machines. Silvano’s education features a degree in Material Engineering from Perugia University, complemented by studies in theoretical physics at Università degli Studi di Padova.
