Lurese Johnson-Gillespie is an experienced educator currently serving as a History Teacher and Lead Teacher since August 2020, with additional responsibilities as Dean of Instruction at Prima HOPE Christian Schools since July 2022. Lurese previously held positions as a History Teacher at Kings Academy and S.V. Marshall High School, alongside roles at Herzing University as Program Chair and various faculty positions within the Criminal Justice Department. Lurese's extensive background also includes coordination of GED programs, educational assistance, and community development, complemented by a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Mississippi Valley State University.
