Roger Baumann

Roger Baumann currently serves as the Director of Peace and Justice Studies and Assistant Professor of Sociology at Hope College since July 2020. Baumann completed a Ph.D. in Sociology at Yale University, where studies spanned from 2012 to 2020, and holds a Master of Theological Studies in Religious Studies from Harvard University. Additionally, Baumann has held various roles including Web Editor at Georgetown University and Harvard University, Social Media Coordinator at The Public Conversations Project, Research Associate at The Pluralism Project at Harvard University, and Technology Fellow at Harvard Divinity School. Early academic foundations include a BA (Hons.) in Religious Studies and Philosophy from the University of Waterloo.
