Overview 

HOPE Community Services, Inc. is a leading outpatient treatment provider in south Oklahoma City.  We provide compassionate trauma-informed care to individuals whose lives have been impacted by mental health and substance use disorders. We do this by providing compassionate and evidence-based treatment, aimed at improving the quality of life for those we serve.  

We are currently seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating and supporting training programs that enhance professional growth and foster a culture of learning. About the Position

As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and evaluation of innovative training solutions for clinical and non-clinical staff at all levels. This role emphasizes collaboration, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to learning management. By coordinating training efforts, managing records, and providing technical support, you’ll contribute to developing a highly skilled workforce and advancing organizational goals.

The Learning and Development Department at HOPE Community Services is committed to fostering an engaging and supportive environment for staff professional growth. We provide tailored training programs, certifications, and resources to ensure staff feel confident and capable in their roles. Our team collaborates across departments to align learning initiatives with agency priorities, equipping staff with the tools and knowledge they need to deliver exceptional care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mental Health, Education, Business, HR, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 360 and familiarity with LMS platforms.

Skills

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, including public speaking and relationship-building.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
  • A positive and professional attitude, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
