Joe Smith

Joe Smith is an accomplished leader in the field of homelessness and community advocacy. Currently serving as the Program Director at Hope Cooperative since September 2022, Joe also holds various significant roles, including Appointed Member of the South Sacramento Community Planning Advisory Council and Board Member positions with Sacramento Continuum of Care, Sacramento Street Medicine, Sacramento Homeless Organizing Committee, and SAFE Ground Sacramento Inc. Joe's previous experience includes a tenure as Director of Advocacy at Sacramento Loaves & Fishes, where responsibilities involved elevating the voices of individuals experiencing homelessness. Joe has a strong commitment to community service, demonstrated through active involvement in multiple coalitions focused on addressing homelessness in Sacramento.
