Marlena Smith-Hamlin

Marlena Smith-Hamlin has a diverse work experience in data and analytics roles. Marlena started their career as a Programmer I at C Spire Personalized Wireless in 2005 and held various roles including Software Developer II, Systems Analyst I, and Business Analyst. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Business/Data Analyst at First Choice Medical Supply, where they developed and maintained a SQL Server database environment for reporting data. In 2015, they joined Magnolia Health Plan as a Data Analyst II, analyzing health management programs and performing HEDIS measure reporting. Currently, they are working at Hope Enterprise Corporation as the SVP of Data & Analytics, leading a team of business data analysts and translating raw data into meaningful information to enhance business strategies.

Marlena Smith-Hamlin attended Jackson State University from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science.
