Meg Jean Louis has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations and roles. Meg served as the Chief Operating Officer at Hope for Haiti since January 2022. Prior to that, they were the Chief Impact Officer from July 2017 to December 2021. Meg also worked as the Director of Program Communications at Hope for Haiti from May 2014 to June 2017. Before joining Hope for Haiti, Meg Jean Louis was the Manager of Corporate Partnerships at Save the Children US from October 2013 to May 2014. Meg gained experience in the field of education during their time as a Minimum Standards and Network Tools Intern at the Inter-Agency Network for Education in Emergencies-INEE from October 2011 to May 2012. Meg also worked as an English Teacher at Teaching Chile, EducaUC from March 2011 to July 2011. Prior to that, Meg Jean Louis served as a Teacher Trainer with Lesotho College of Education as part of the Peace Corps from November 2008 to November 2010. Their work history also includes being the Founder of Relay For Life Loyola College at the American Cancer Society from September 2004 to March 2008.

Meg Jean Louis completed their education with a Master of Arts (MA) in International Educational Development at Teachers College, Columbia University from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Elementary Education and Special Education from Loyola University Maryland, graduating between 2004 and 2008. Meg's high school education was completed at Fairfield High School, where they earned their HS Diploma from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their academic qualifications, they also obtained a certificate of completion for the "Fundamentals of Project Management" from PM4DEV in April 2016.
