Skyler Badenoch

Skyler Badenoch has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Skyler started their career as a Photo Department Intern at Time Magazine in 1999. Skyler then served as a Peace Corps Volunteer from 2001 to 2002. After that, they worked as a Program Associate at The Appleseed Foundation from 2003 to 2004. In 2005, they held Program Assistant positions at both the U.S. Export Import Bank and the National Democratic Institute (NDI).

From 2006 to 2013, Skyler worked at buildOn, where they held multiple roles. Skyler first served as a Manager of International Programs from 2006 to 2012, and then as a Development Director for East Coast Programs from 2011 to 2013. In these positions, they led and developed funding models, cultivated relationships with supporters, secured new prospects, managed special events, and increased regional awareness of buildOn.

Skyler then joined Scottsdale Leadership in 2018 as a Member of Class 33, where they served until 2019. In 2013, Skyler also became involved with Hope for Haiti as the Chief Executive Officer, a position they currently hold.

Furthermore, they have been a Board Member for Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale since 2020.

Additionally, Skyler Badenoch was part of the Global Board at buildOn from 2017 onwards and served as the Vice President of New Business Development from 2013 to 2017. In this role, they drove research for new prospective partners to support various programs and teams within the organization.

Skyler Badenoch completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at the University of Arizona from 1996 to 2000. Later, from 2004 to 2006, Skyler pursued a Master's degree in International Development Studies at The George Washington University.
