Tyeshia Whitfield

Tyeshia Whitfield is an experienced case manager with a career spanning several roles in social services. Currently serving as a Case Manager at Hope for Justice and Slave-Free Alliance since December 2022, Tyeshia previously held the position of Human Services Case Manager at Wake County from October 2018 to December 2022. Prior experience includes serving as an Income Maintenance Caseworker II at both Alamance County Department of Social Services and Lenoir County Department of Social Services from May 2017 to October 2018 and October 2015 to May 2017, respectively. Tyeshia earned a degree in Public Health Studies with a focus on Community Health Services, Liaison, and Counseling from East Carolina University (2011-2015) and attended Winston-Salem State University from 2009 to 2011, along with completing a High School Diploma at Needham B. Broughton High School (2005-2009).
