Hope Gospel Mission
Benita Wagner serves as the Lead Chaplain at Hope Gospel Mission, focusing on the well-being of women and children experiencing homelessness. With over two decades of experience at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Benita coordinates the Service-Learning program, overseeing comprehensive management, policy development, and community liaison efforts. Previous roles include Co-Owner of Aiming Higher: Hot Air Balloons & Cool Air Inflatables, Co-Founder of the Hope Christmas Gift Extravaganza, and various administrative positions with the General Council of the Assemblies of God. Benita holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication/Broadcasting from Evangel University, along with multiple certifications in supervision and non-profit leadership.

When someone has nowhere else to go, no one to turn to, nothing else to lose, the only thing left is hope. Hope Gospel Mission knows the power of hope. It's found through the goodwill of others and faith in God. That is what Hope Gospel Mission gives to people. A place to stay, clean clothes and a warm meal, but much more important is the community, purpose and direction everyone needs when all else is lost. Educational programs, job training, spiritual guidance. This is how lives are rescued, rebuilt and renewed.
