Christine Arismendi began their work experience in 2011 as a Clinician - In home therapist at Priority Professional Care, providing comprehensive mental health intervention to children and adolescents. Christine then worked as a Graduate Assistant at the University of New Hampshire in 2012. From 2013 to 2016, Christine held the role of Health and Wellness Coordinator and Mental Health Counselor at EIKOS Community Services, Inc., where they focused on enhancing the overall wellness of residents with psychiatric diagnoses through recreational therapy and sport psychology. Christine later became a Program Administrator at the same organization, overseeing day-to-day operations and providing counseling to residents. In 2017, Christine joined Victory Programs as a Senior Counselor, offering individual services to residents and facilitating client groups. In 2018, they were promoted to Program Director. Christine's most recent position is Chief Operating Officer at Hope House Addiction Services, where they direct the Co-occurring Enhanced program for men with severe mental health and substance use disorders.
Christine Arismendi has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Penn State University, which they obtained from 2005 to 2009. Christine then pursued a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Sport Psychology at Boston University from 2009 to 2010. Christine continued their education at the University of New Hampshire, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy from 2012 to 2013. Finally, they completed their academic journey at Northeastern University, obtaining another Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from 2015 to 2016. In terms of certifications, Christine is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, accredited by the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Allied Mental Health and Human Services in 2019. Additionally, they hold a MAP certification from D&S Diversified Technologies, earned in 2013.
