Headstrong Project
Amy Moes Williams, PhD, currently serves as the Chief Clinical Officer at The Headstrong Project since June 2021 and has been a CPT National Trainer for the VA CPT Rollout Initiative since 2009. Previously, Amy was the Clinic Director at the Steven A Cohen Military Family Clinic at Metrocare from February 2016 to June 2021 and volunteered as faculty at UT Southwestern Medical Center during the same period. Additionally, Amy participated in the 2019 George W. Bush Institute Stand-To Veteran Leadership Program. Amy's earlier experience includes a decade in independent practice as a Clinical Psychologist and teaching as an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of North Texas. Academic credentials include a MA and PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Texas, a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, and a Predoctoral Internship at the Palo Alto VA Healthcare System, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in business management from Texas Tech University.
