Dumisani Kaiya

Dumisani Kaiya is a consulting software engineer at HOPE International since December 2022. Prior experience includes serving as an informatics/geospatial officer at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation from February 2021 to December 2022 and as a logistics analysis and mapping/software developer at the World Food Programme from October 2017 to February 2021. While at the World Food Programme, Dumisani managed the Logistics Cluster GIS Information Exchange system, developed supply chain operation systems, and created dashboards using Tableau. Dumisani also coordinated with partner organizations during the implementation of the Lean Season Response and previously worked as a web developer and supply chain analyst. Dumisani holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Malawi - Chancellor College and is currently pursuing a master's degree in data science at Nottingham Trent University from September 2024 to October 2025.
