Alecia Mitiguy

Alecia Mitiguy is an experienced mental health professional with a strong background in social work and education. Currently serving as an Intensive In-Home Therapist at Hope Services, LLC since May 2020, Alecia previously worked as a Psychiatric Social Worker at Holly Hill Hospital from August 2019 to May 2020. Alecia's experience includes conducting significant research on the North Carolina Child Welfare system of kinship care at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where a focus on family placements was developed. Additional roles include working as an Adoption Social Worker in Wake County and as a Kindergarten Teacher at Chesterbrook Academy, as well as serving as an Older Two's Educator at Primrose Schools. Alecia holds a Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Education in psychology and education from Norwich University.
