Sydney Newman

Sydney Newman is a design professional with extensive experience in creative roles across various organizations. Currently serving as a Design Intern at The Swag Lab since May 2024, Sydney has also held multiple leadership positions at Hopelessly Yellow, including President of Creative & Design, Director of Graphic Design, and Graphic Design Artist since September 2021. Additionally, Sydney contributes as a Creative Team Member for the Michigan Music Business Club and has experience as a +Impact Design Intern for the Detroit Neighborhood Entrepreneurs Project at the University of Michigan Center on Finance, Law & Policy. Previous roles include Graphic Design Chair at MASH Magazine and an internship at The Two Oh Three. Sydney is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art & Design and a Business Minor at the University of Michigan, with study abroad experience in Denmark. Education includes a High School Diploma from Staples High School, completed in June 2021.
