Roslyn C. Edwards serves as the Managing Director of HopePHL since June 2023, where the organization aims to empower Philadelphia's children, youth, families, and communities through housing, advocacy, and trauma-responsive social services. Prior to this role, Roslyn held positions as Director of Early Childhood Education Programs and Project Director at HopePHL from February 2018 to March 2023. Roslyn's expertise includes serving as a Standardized/Simulation Patient at multiple medical institutions, where essential skills for healthcare professionals are developed. Roslyn also has extensive experience in technical assistance and program management, demonstrated in roles at ICF International and the YMCA of Philadelphia & Vicinity, along with various leadership positions in Head Start programs. Roslyn holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Wheaton College Massachusetts.

HopePHL
HopePHL (pronounced Hopeful) is a newly formed social service organization for families, youth, and young children, experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Philadelphia. HopePHL was formed from two separate, but well known, social service organizations, People’s Emergency Center (PEC), and Youth Service, Inc (YSI), with 150 years of combined service experience.
