Ama Owusuaa LCMHCS is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in various therapeutic roles. Since May 2018, Ama has served as a Primary Therapist at HopeWay. Concurrently, Ama has been a Mental Health Therapist at A.M.A Counseling Services since March 2014. Prior experience includes serving as a Telemental Health Clinician II at Carolinas HealthCare System from November 2014 to May 2018 and as a Therapist at New Hope Treatment Centers Inc from September 2011 to December 2014, specializing in working with adolescent males exhibiting sexually harmful behaviors. Educationally, Ama holds a Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling from Winthrop University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
