Hopewell Holdings Limited is a Hong Kong-based investment holding company principally engaged in the development of properties. Along with subsidiaries, the Company operates its business through six segments: the Property Development segment; the Toll Road Investment segment; the Property Investment segment; the Power Plant segment; the Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Operation segment; and the Treasury Income segment. The Property Development segment is engaged in the development and/or sale of properties, property under development, as well as project management such as Hopewell New Town. The Toll Road Investment segment is engaged in the investment in expressway projects, including the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Superhighway and the Western Delta Route. The Property Investment segment is engaged in the letting and management of properties. Its property portfolio includes commercial, retail and residential properties. The Power Plant segment invests and operates coal-fired power plants.
