Michael Y. Liu, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in asset-backed securities and collateralized debt obligations. Currently serving as Managing Director at Guggenheim Securities since February 2011, Michael Y. Liu has progressed through various roles within the firm, including Director, Vice President, and Associate, all focused on ABS and CDO trading. Prior to this, Michael Y. Liu worked as an Analyst in Omnium Knowledge Management at Citadel LLC from July 2008 to February 2011 and gained experience as a Research Analyst at Brighton House Associates in the summer of 2007. Michael Y. Liu holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Chicago, earned in 2009.
