Ægir Þorsteinsson

Ægir Þorsteinsson serves as the Chief Product Officer, Co-Founder, and CEO of Aranja, a Digital and Venture Studio that invests in startups while providing digital product expertise. Ægir co-founded Hopp Mobility, launching Iceland's first scooter sharing platform and led it as CEO for the initial two years while overseeing software development and franchise expansions. Additional experience includes curating JSConf Iceland, consulting for Google on web applications, and holding senior web development roles at various companies such as Red Gate Software and Landsbankinn. Ægir's educational background includes a BSc in Computer Science from Reykjavik University and a Computer Technology Diploma from the Technical College Reykjavik.
