Shea Meyers

Shea Meyers has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of software development. They started their career as a Programmer Analyst intern at SaskTel in 2013, where they were responsible for implementing prepaid data through text message and developing automation scripts for daily and weekly tasks.

Following their internship, Meyers joined Vendasta Technologies Inc. in 2015 as a Software Developer. Here, they played a key role in redesigning and enhancing the Vendasta Business Center, converting it into a single-page application and making it responsive. They also developed mobile apps for ordering food and drinks.

In 2016, Meyers joined Toogethr as a Fullstack Developer. They worked on the Toogethr Commute car pooling application, redesigning and rebuilding parts of the code and architecture to accommodate different user needs. They utilized a Python and Django stack with a microservice architecture.

In 2020, Meyers joined Maykin Media as a Web Developer. They were part of a team that created a form and data management platform for third-party municipalities. They developed a default frontend and a backend API for municipality-specific frontends, allowing efficient data management. They also developed a tax portal for multinational companies reporting cross-border tax arrangements to the Dutch tax office.

Currently, Shea Meyers is working at Hoppinger, starting in 2022 as a Senior Developer. The details of their roles and responsibilities at Hoppinger are not provided.

Shea Meyers completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Saskatchewan, with the degree obtained in 2015. Additionally, Shea earned a Staatsexamen Programma II (B2) diploma from Dienst Uitvoering Onderwijs (DUO) in January 2020 and an Inburgeringsdiploma, also from DUO, in March 2019.
