Robert Bakos

Robert Bakos is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in the healthcare technology sector. As Co-Founder and CTO of HOPPR since May 2019, Robert is instrumental in developing a pioneering multimodal foundation model aimed at enhancing AI capabilities in medical imaging. Previously, Robert served as Chief Technology Officer at Higi from September 2011 to July 2023, where responsibilities included quality management and big data analytics. Robert's career also includes significant roles at Merge Healthcare, where contributions spanned from Senior Software Engineer to VP of Engineering, as well as positions at Requisite Software and Click Commerce, Inc. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Science degree from DePaul University.
