Tino Breddin

Tino Breddin is a DevOps Engineer at HOPR. Prior to their current position, they were a Core Developer and Core Team Lead at æternity blockchain from December 2018 to May 2020. While at æternity blockchain, Tino was responsible for the design and implementation of State Channels and Virtual State Channels support, as well as the improvement and maintenance of the Core database layer.

From November 2009 to May 2012, Tino worked as a Senior Consultant at Erlang Solutions Ltd., where they were the project lead for two EU funded research projects - RELEASE and Paraphrase - aimed at improving Erlang's scalability. Tino was also responsible for supervising a research project to improve the Erlang development tool-chain for embedded devices. During their time at Erlang Solutions Ltd., Tino specialized in architectures for scalable messaging, data storage and data processing systems.

Tino Breddin studied Media Computer Science at Dresden University of Technology and received a diploma in the field.
