Idris Ashimi

Idris Ashimi currently serves as Public Policy & Regulatory Counsel at HopSkipDrive since April 2024. Previous experience includes roles as Legislative and Regulatory Counsel and Senior Litigation Counsel at Allstate from February 2019 to April 2024, as well as a Pathfinder at the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity from January to September 2022. Prior to these positions, Idris worked as an Assistant District Attorney at the Dallas County District Attorney's Office from April 2014 to February 2019 and as an Attorney at Parker Straus, LLP from October 2013 to January 2014. Educational credentials include a B.A. in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin, a Doctor of Law (JD) from Texas Southern University, and a Graduate Certificate in Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Leadership from Harvard Extension School.
