Murat Bahar

Murat Bahar is an experienced product leader with a diverse background in the technology and e-commerce sectors. As the Founder and Head of Product at Hoptub since September 2019, Murat is developing the first growth platform for the e-commerce resale industry. Previous roles include Senior Product Manager at Mapbox, where responsibilities centered around enhancing location search capabilities, and at Amazon Web Services, focusing on rapid app development solutions. Murat also founded Jebwa.com, a luxury resale platform, and held positions such as Head of Product at Kure TV and Co-Founder of Smartface. Early in the career, Murat worked as a Senior Consultant at EY, creating online HR solutions for the telecommunications and finance industries. Educational qualifications include a BS in Physics from Koç University and further study at UCLA.
