Steve Howarth

Steve Howarth is an experienced professional in Management Information Systems (MIS) and systems development, currently serving as the Head of MIS & Systems Development at Hopwood Hall College since April 2025. Prior to this role, Steve held the position of Head of MIS & ICT at Northern College for Adults from April 2019 to April 2025, and previously served as Head of MIS. Steve's earlier experience includes leading the MIS & Business Intelligence team at Macclesfield College of Further Education from June 2016 to April 2019, working as a Data & Report Analyst at CogniSoft in 2015-2016, and serving as an MIS Data & Systems Developer at both Basingstoke College of Technology (2013-2015) and CANADEAN LIMITED (2011-2013). Steve holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University, obtained from 2007 to 2011.
