Tina Opp has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Customer Director at Point B since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Point B as a Senior Account Leader from April 2020 to October 2021, a Senior Associate in Project Leadership Services from January 2018 to April 2020, and as an Associate in Project Leadership Services from May 2016 to December 2017.
Before joining Point B, Tina worked at Dow AgroSciences as a Production and Raw Material Planner from September 2014 to May 2016. In this role, they were responsible for creating and executing production schedules and supply strategies for over 150 products across three sites. Tina coordinated with external vendors, internal suppliers, logistics partners, and internal operations teams to ensure balance between demand and supply. Tina also provided support to manufacturing operations and led the operations supply team at three plants.
Prior to Dow AgroSciences, Tina worked at Dow Chemical as a Supply Chain Improvement Specialist in the Crop Protection division from July 2012 to August 2014. Here, they led global, multi-functional teams to launch new products and improve supply chains for existing products. Tina ensured production and system capability before product launches and managed improvement projects to drive waste reduction and efficiency gains.
Tina'searlier experiences include working as a Supply Chain Analyst at Dow Chemical's Michigan Operations Site Logistics from June 2011 to June 2012, an Engineering Intern at Westinghouse Electric Company's Global Quality Programs in 2010, an Engineering Intern at Port Erie Plastics for Production Vision System Design & Implementation in 2009, and an Engineering Intern at Zurn Industries for MRP Implementation in 2008.
Tina Opp attended Villa Maria Academy from 2003 to 2007 and obtained their high school degree. Tina then went on to study at the University of Michigan from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Tina also obtained several certifications. In 2012, they became a Six Sigma Green Belt Project Leader through Dow Chemical. In 2013, they obtained the certification of APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management from APICS. Tina's additional certification as a Women in Bio 3.8 Board Readiness Cohort Member took place at an unknown time.
