HORAN
Karen Mueller has over 40 years of work experience in the insurance industry. Karen currently holds the position of Executive Vice President at HUB International, a role they have held since 2023. Prior to this, they served as Executive VP at Horan Associates, Inc. starting in 1997. From 1991 to 1997, they worked as a Sales Executive at United Healthcare/MetraHealth/Metlife, and from 1987 to 1991, they held the same role at MagnaCare/Maxicare. Karen's career began in 1983, when they worked as an Employee Benefit Manager at Cincinnati Financial Corporation.
Karen Mueller attended Stephen T. Badin HS and graduated in 1980. Karen then went on to study Business at Miami University, completing their education in 1984. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Chartered Benefit Consultant (CBC) certification in 2009. Moreover, they acquired a certification in Design Thinking from Xavier University in June 2016, and attended the WELCOA National Training Summit in March 2013 to enhance their skills in effectively communicating the power of wellness.
