Kurt Thompson

Kurt S. Thompson, AIA is an Associate Principal with Hord Coplan Macht and brings over 35 years of experience in senior living, healthcare and academic facility planning, programming, design and master planning. He has worked with numerous senior living and healthcare facilities, universities and medical institutions. His approach to projects focuses on designing spaces that blend state-of-the- art technology with welcoming interior design and architectural features.

His extensive experience as a Project Manager has included direct communication and coordination with the Owner/Client, coordination with all reviewing agencies, oversight of the project team, including consultants, and ultimate responsibility for the delivery of quality professional services as they relate to the project objective for functionality, aesthetics, budget and schedule. Particularly known for his ability to program and conceptually design complex projects, Kurt seeks out innovative solutions that address the owners goals, enhance its relationship with the community-at-large, and integrate sustainable practices with the built environment.
