Lee is an accomplished architect and business leader, who has been instrumental in the growth and development of a collaborative practice.
Lee Coplan started Hord Coplan Macht over 40 years ago with two partners and an entrepreneurial approach to design. Since then, Lee has been growing a multidiscipline, collaborative practice into a full service architecture, landscape architecture, planning and interior design firm. Lee’s attention to all facets of design and business is sought by organizations beyond his firm, where he serves on the Board of LifeBridge Health, as Vice President of the board of the Aaron and Lillie Straus Foundation, and as President of the Camp Airy and Louise Foundation. Lee is also a member of the Board of Visitors of the University of Maryland Baltimore County and on the Board of Visitors of Stevenson University. Lee has written and contributed on articles for Medical Construction and Design magazine, Trustee Magazine and Healthcare Facilities magazine, and presented at the Healthcare Facilities Design Symposium.
