Neil Murray

Neil Murray is an Associate Principal in Hord Coplan Macht’s K12 education studio. He has over 20 years’ experience in Campus Planning along with designing and managing the delivery of award winning architecture. While working with clients to understand the needs of their communities, he approaches each project with a balance of technical rigor and design curiosity. This process involves identifying the needs of students of today while creating or adapting spaces to allow growth and flexibility or program goals. He is an advocate within the firm, studio and community for sustainable and energy efficient buildings, working with owners to plan for facilities that address a responsible future.

He has extensive experience with private and independent PK12 schools along with higher education campuses. His clients include the Bullis School, Bryn Mawr School, Tower Hill School and the Calvert School along with the Carey School of Business at Johns Hopkins University. In addition he has supported various arts and environmental non-profits in the region including BARCO, Current Space and the Howard County Conservancy.
