Andras Karman

Andras Karman is an experienced professional in automotive functional safety and nuclear safety. Currently serving as an Automotive Functional Safety Consultant at HORIBA MIRA since January 2018, Andras has contributed to various innovative OEM projects, focusing on the Functional Safety development of vehicle functionalities such as electric vehicles, internal combustion engines, and automated driving systems. Previously, Andras worked as a System Safety Engineer at thyssenkrupp Presta AG, specializing in electromechanical steering systems, and held the position of Nuclear Safety Inspector at the Hungarian Atomic Energy Authority, where significant contributions included emergency response exercises and training. Also, Andras served as a consultant at the International Atomic Energy Agency, aiding in emergency preparedness and response initiatives. Educational credentials include a MSc and BSc in Nuclear Physics from Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
