Phil March

Phil March is a seasoned professional in the field of engineering, currently serving as a Senior Consultant in Functional Safety at HORIBA MIRA since June 2014. With a robust background in systems and safety consulting, Phil has led high voltage traction battery product developments for commercial vehicles and played a pivotal role in technical and budgetary proposals during the bidding process. Prior experience includes serving as the EPS Control Systems Team Leader at TRW Automotive, where responsibilities encompassed the global design and implementation of torque controllers for Electric Power Steering systems across various vehicle segments. Phil’s career began at TRW Conekt as a Motor Control R&D Engineer, applying PhD research in Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor control. Phil holds a PhD in Control Systems Engineering and a 1st Class BEng in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, alongside a Certificate in Management with Distinction.
