Horizon Academic Research Program
Haley Wohlever is a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, since August 2019, focusing on spectral methods to study geophysical structures influenced by Jupiter's atmosphere. In addition, Wohlever serves as a Research Mentor for the Horizon Academic Research Program, where an accelerated curriculum in computational fluid dynamics is designed for high school students, guiding them through various research projects. As a Crisis Counselor for Crisis Text Line, over 600 hours of volunteer work has been dedicated to supporting individuals in crisis. Previously, Wohlever held multiple teaching assistant roles at the University of Rochester, covering subjects from mechanical engineering to physics, and completed an internship with Dassault Systèmes. Educational qualifications include a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester and current MS/PhD studies at the University of California, Berkeley.

Horizon Academic Research Program
Horizon Academic (HARP) is a trimester-long online research program for extraordinary high school students to refine their interest in an academic subject. Students will develop a college-level research project under the individualized guidance of a professor from a globally renowned university.
