Kristen Heiden

Kristen Heiden is a Senior Consultant at Horizon Actuarial Services, with over 25 years of experience in benefits consulting. Since joining Horizon in 2018, Kristen has specialized in multiemployer health and welfare and pension plan clients, and has recently opened a new office in San Francisco. Prior roles include serving as a Consultant and CFO at Rael & Letson, where Kristen focused on health and welfare and pension consulting, and as an Executive Consultant providing advisory services in various industries. During tenure at Safeway Inc., Kristen held significant leadership roles in Labor Relations, excelling in labor negotiations and compliance. Earlier experience at Mercer involved consulting for diverse corporate clients on pension plan design and maintenance. Kristen holds a Master of Science in Statistics from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from UCLA, among other educational credentials.
