Chris Whitaker currently serves as a Board Member and Executive Committee member at The Trail Conservancy since December 2021. As Senior Vice President of Real Estate and Mortgage Lending at Horizon Bank since September 2010, Chris brings extensive experience in the real estate and mortgage sectors, having previously worked as an Associate Broker at Gottesman Residential Real Estate from April 2009 to August 2022, and as a Senior Mortgage Banker at PrimeLending from January 2002 to September 2010. Prior roles include Consulting Manager for the Southwest Region at Qwest Communications and Account Manager for the Western Region at Business Edge Solutions. Chris began a career at DMR Consulting as a Business Developer and Branch Manager. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Communication and Media Studies from Texas Tech University, both earned from 1991 to 1995.
