Christine Schofield

Christine Schofield is an experienced professional in project management and scientific research, currently serving as Associate Director of Project Management at Horizon Discovery since March 2010, having previously held the role of Project Manager and Team Leader within the same organization. Prior to this, Christine was the Deputy Laboratory Manager for the Institute of Cancer Research's Targeted Laboratory Team at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust from January 2009 to March 2010. Previous roles include serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Targeted Therapy Team at the Institute of Cancer Research from 2002 to 2009, and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the National Institutes of Health from 1997 to 2002. Christine began the career in science as an Industrial Placement Scientist at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in 1991. Educationally, Christine holds a BSc with Honours in Microbiology from the University of Surrey and a PhD in Virology from the University of Warwick.
