Matt Wheeler

Matt Wheeler is an experienced engineering manager with a comprehensive background in marine engineering and project management. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at FST Technical Services since December 2020, Matt oversees a team that includes Senior Project Engineers and Field Technicians, while managing the commissioning and installation of systems at client sites. Prior to this role, Matt held positions at Horizon Engineering Associates, where responsibilities included engineering management and senior engineering roles. Additional experience includes managing engineering departments at Rowan Companies and Transocean, focusing on construction and commissioning of drilling vessels. Matt's career began with hands-on engineering roles at companies such as General Dynamics and US Shipping Corporation, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering Operations from Maine Maritime Academy.
