Gregory Mercier

Gregory Mercier is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the automotive and commercial vehicle sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Horizon Global since March 2014, Gregory has overseen the design and development of trailer, cargo, and retail products. Previously, as Chief Engineer, Gregory led the design and development of Reese Towing Products, focusing on large-scale towing systems. Other notable positions include Engineering Manager at Federal-Mogul, Vehicle Engineering Manager at Navistar, and various leadership roles at TRW, where Gregory managed significant automotive braking systems projects, generating substantial revenue. Gregory holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University.
