Laura Zvara Lawlor has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Laura began their career at Seton Hall University as a Groupwise administrator from 1995 to 1997. Laura then worked at the National Basketball Association as a Project Manager/Lotus Notes Administrator from 1997 to 2001. Since 2001, Laura has been with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, holding various leadership roles. Laura was the eBusiness Director from 2001 to 2004, Program Director for Class Action Litigation from 2004 to 2009, Program Director for ICD-10 from 2009 to 2015, Director of BPI Delivery from 2016 to 2019, Director of Service Products from 2020 to 2022, and currently serves as the Director of Digital Product Management.

From 1987 to 1991, they attended Villanova University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communications Arts.

In 1992 to 1993, they pursued a Master of Education (M. Ed.) degree in Counseling Psychology from Seton Hall University.

Later, in 2000 to 2001, Laura obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Systems Management from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

In terms of additional certifications, they received a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in June 2007. Furthermore, they attained a certification in Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in January 2019. Most recently, they obtained a certification in "Digital Strategies for Business: Leading the Next-Generation Enterprise" from Emeritus in December 2022.
