Rob Ciaruffoli has an extensive work experience in the healthcare investment industry. Rob started their career in 2005 as a Healthcare Analyst at Amaranth Advisors, where they identified investment opportunities and performed valuation analysis. Rob then joined Tokum Capital Management in 2006 as a Partner and Healthcare Services Sector Head, managing $100m of investments and helping build a team. In 2010, Tokum Capital merged with Perella Weinberg Partners, where Rob continued as the Director of Research and Healthcare Services Sector Head. Rob sourced and managed $150m of investments and developed capital and risk management strategies. Rob then joined Broadfin Capital LLC in 2013 as the Healthcare Services Sector Head, focusing on public and private investments. In 2015, they moved to Senzar Asset Management as the Healthcare Services Sector Head and Senior Analyst for a $800m healthcare dedicated investment fund. Rob has also held board observer roles at Aetion, Solera Health, Eleanor Health, and Zipari. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Corporate Development & Venture Investments at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey.
Rob Ciaruffoli pursued their undergraduate studies from 1996 to 2000 at Boston University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance.
